The Boob Wall: Collective Castings

Damsel Collective

The Boob Wall Collective Castings For anyone with a breast to share or a chest to bare ♡ An ongoing, artist led club for collective casting, embodied work and intimate creating run by May and Leyla, this is an extension of The Boob Wall - a growing installation and living archive of breast and chest histories. For anyone who feels drawn to the work. Whether your relationship to your body feels clear, complicated, changing or all at once. what happens here ✿ You can: • be cast and become part of the evolving Boob Wall installation
• join small, intentional workshops exploring body, memory and material
• make your own pieces and take them home
• share stories, reflections and experiences in a space that holds them gently
• contribute to evolving surveys and conversations that build a collective understanding of how we live in our bodies
• be part of something that grows through the people within it a space for women, queer people and trans people
to build visibility, representation and understanding together This is not about observation or consumption.
It is about participation - in process, in conversation, and in something that is still unfolding. what we are doing ✧ We are building something together. A collective body of work.
An archive of how people have actually lived inside their bodies over time - not fixed, not perfect
just real and changing. what this is for ♡ • to see bodies as they are lived, not just seen
• to meet yourself with a little more empathy, honesty and less judgement
• to feel part of something shared, not separate what you might take from it ✿ There’s no expectation and no right way to feel. People arrive with all kinds of relationships to their bodies, and that’s met as it is. Being in the space, alongside other bodies and experiences, tends to shift something. What can feel very personal or isolating begins to sit differently when you see how many variations of it exist. You’re given the chance to pause and actually consider your relationship to your body in a real, physical way. Through the casting, you capture it as it is now. Not how it’s expected to be, or how it used to be, just as it is. There can be something quietly powerful in that. In seeing it more objectively. In recognising what it has carried you through, adapted to, endured. For some people that brings a sense of appreciation or softness. For others it simply holds a moment in time without needing to resolve anything. You leave having made something, and having been part of something larger than yourself. And more often than not, that sense of being seen, and of seeing others, stays with people.

Self-Care Sundays

Ginger By Zoe

A monthly event designed to make friends, build community, and enjoy the radical act of self-care. @selfcaresundayscardiff on Instagram The events take place in a nail and beauty salon - unfortunately there is a set of stairs up to the room so it is not a fully accessible space but we have a whole floor to ourselves including quiet rooms, a bathroom, and kitchenette. Free Gel nails available, just pay what you can (all proceeds go towards the continuation of self care Sundays). In addition to the nails, we will provide monthly activities based on mindfulness and self-love - for example, learning to crochet, tie-dye, and letter writing. Anyone is welcome who would benefit from a welcoming, safe space to be yourself and take what you need. A place to just be. We aim to build a community of self-carers by bringing books to swap, offering any pampering activity you enjoy, and cake! Come and donate any of your skills if you'd like! The first 30 minutes are a quieter time for those who would like to have their nail appointments without the chit chat!

Spicy Run Club

London

Welcome to Spicy Run Club. Spicy Run Club is a neurodivergent-led running community designed to make movement feel more accessible, predictable and welcoming. We know that traditional run clubs aren’t always designed with neurodivergent people in mind. Loud environments, pressure to socialise, uncertainty around what to expect, and a focus on pace or performance can make joining feel overwhelming. We’re doing things a little differently. We don’t split people by pace. We split into groups based on sensory preference and how you’re feeling that day. 🌶️ 5K Music Group For those feeling social and happy to chat as they move. 🌶️ 5K Quiet Group For those who would prefer a lower sensory experience. There is no expectation to talk, socialise or make conversation. Feel free to wear headphones, ear defenders or anything else that helps you feel comfortable. 🌶️ 3K Walk Group A gentler entry point for anyone who would rather walk, take things slowly, or get a feel for the community before joining one of the running groups. 🌶️ Virtual Spicy Runs Because not everyone can, wants to, or is able to attend in person. Move with us from wherever feels most comfortable. Our events are designed around choice, flexibility and predictability. There are no pace targets, no expectations and no pressure to keep up. Walking, taking breaks, leaving early, or changing groups are all completely okay. Spicy Run Club is open to neurodivergent people, support systems and allies. Whether you’re autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, exploring a diagnosis, or simply looking for a different kind of running community, you’re welcome here. We understand that new environments can feel daunting. If you ever have questions before attending an event, please reach out. We’d much rather answer a question than have someone miss out because they were unsure. Stay Spicy 🌶️
