Tortured writers' club
Are you a writer but keep telling yourself you're not? Do you sporadically pick up a pen or boot up your laptop to write something after feeling immense amounts of self-hate for not writing anything for weeks? This is the writing club for you! Writing can be lonely, so this club is about sharing what we write (yes, reading it out!) and getting feedback from people who have not looked at the same damn draft for hours and hours. I'll also be looking at creating a buddy system so we can hype each other up and get writing more and more (but sometimes still sporadically).

Amy set it up after moving back to her childhood city and wanting to meet people in their 20s and 30s who had lots of different interests, not just one. Her Social Club is a community for women in Manchester who want real, long-term friendships, not just one-night events. We’re six women who met through social events and became genuinely close, and we’re building that same circle for others. Expect wine evenings, coffee walks, supper clubs, wellness mornings, creative workshops and games nights — regular socials that feel elegant, low-pressure and real. A circle worth keeping.
