We encourage members to attend events solo so everyone is in the same boat and has the opportunity to meet new people. This is a friendly, relaxed community for making new friends, building connections, and having fun together. We’ll organise a mix of free and paid activities, including arts and crafts sessions, park meet-ups, coffee chats, and more. Members are also welcome to suggest plans and events of their own for others to join. This is also a supportive space where you can chat, share what’s on your mind, and connect with others if you’re feeling lonely or just looking for company. There’s no pressure here, join in whenever you can, be yourself, and take things at your own pace. Founded by Varsha — a global movie buff looking to connect with like-minded people. The London Global Cinema, Drama & Comedy Community is a social group for adults (18+) who love movies, drama series, theatre shows, and stand-up comedy in both Hindi and English. We appreciate storytelling from all around the world — South Indian films, Bollywood, Hollywood, K-dramas, anime, global cinema, West End theatre, and comedy nights. This is a community-first group, not a hosting club (for now). We come together to explore entertainment in London as a group, while keeping everything casual and flexible.
