Welcome to the club! 🤍Looking for people who are also hoping to make new friends? Whether it’s for a chat, a gym buddy, an event buddy, or just spending time together, join So Shy Socials 🤍 Come on your own! 🤍 The aim of this club is to help people make new friends and genuine connections. We encourage members to attend events solo so everyone is in the same boat and has the opportunity to meet new people. It might feel a little daunting at first, but you’ll be welcomed into a friendly and supportive group where everyone is there for the same reason. This is a friendly, relaxed community for making new friends, building connections, and having fun together. We’ll organise a mix of free and paid activities, including arts and crafts sessions, park meet-ups, coffee chats, and more. Members are also welcome to suggest plans and events of their own for others to join. This is also a supportive space where you can chat, share what’s on your mind, and connect with others if you’re feeling lonely or just looking for company. There’s no pressure here, join in whenever you can, be yourself, and take things at your own pace. When you first join, please introduce yourself by sharing: • Name • Age • Where you’re from (your area or borough is perfect) • What you do (work, study, etc.) • Favourite musician or artist 🎶 • Favourite book 📚 • A book, show, or movie you didn’t enjoy (we all have one! 😅) • Things you’d like to do or try There’s no need to write loads – short answers are absolutely fine. Feel free to join conversations at any time, reply to others, or start your own chats. The goal is simple: to connect, have fun, support one another, and make new friends.

Founded by Varsha — a global movie buff looking to connect with like-minded people. The London Global Cinema, Drama & Comedy Community is a social group for adults (18+) who love movies, drama series, theatre shows, and stand-up comedy in both Hindi and English. We appreciate storytelling from all around the world — South Indian films, Bollywood, Hollywood, K-dramas, anime, global cinema, West End theatre, and comedy nights. This is a community-first group, not a hosting club (for now). We come together to explore entertainment in London as a group, while keeping everything casual and flexible. Connect via insta:@cinemadramacomedyclub_london ✨ Important to Know No events are hosted by the community yet. Every member purchases their own ticket individually for movies, theatre shows, and comedy nights. We simply coordinate, connect, and attend events together to make it more fun. No fees, no commitment — just shared interests and good company! Open to any new suggestions or meetups members want to propose 🎬 What This Community Is About Finding like-minded movie, theatre, and comedy lovers Attending screenings, stage shows, and stand-up events as a group Sharing recommendations, upcoming event info, trailers, reviews Discovering global cinema and performing arts in London Building friendships in a relaxed, inclusive environment All nationalities, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome! 👩🎬 About Varsha (Founder) Varsha is a solo girl founder, a lifelong cinephile, and a fan of theatre and stand-up comedy.
