Our events are all hosted in local independents, so that we can also introduce you to some fabulous places to go out in the future – knowing that you’ll be supporting the people and places in your area.
EVERYONE feels lonely sometimes! That is so completely normal, we just don’t really talk about it. Our events are all about creating safe spaces for people to meet and connect.

Where Friends Grow 🌱 is a welcoming social club run by No Plant Left Behind, a not-for-profit connecting people with nature — and each other.
Amy set it up after moving back to her childhood city and wanting to meet people in their 20s and 30s who had lots of different interests, not just one. It’s a space where everyone is welcome 🤍
We make friends through nature with hikes, crafting, coffees and chats ☕🌿 with socials run at cost or free to keep things accessible.
We work with bothy and bloom to make our socials as friendly and fun as possible ☺️

Girls Connected MCR is a welcoming, feel-good community for women in Manchester to meet new friends, try out new hobbies, and take a break from our phones. It’s all about real-life connection, good chats, and discovering something new—whether that’s a creative workshop, a mindful moment, or just a fun evening with amazing women people.
