Hosting my first ever girls-only tour to the Philippines feels surreal — and even more special because it’s created for us, by one of us✨ As an Indian girlie from an ethnic background, I know how hard it can be to chase the dream of travel. Between old-school family expectations, feeling judged, and friends not being able to commit due to money or time off — it often felt like travel just wasn’t “meant” for us🥹 But at 22, fresh out of uni, I said nah — booked a solo trip and joined a group tour because I refused to let anyone or anything hold me back. My mum was totally against it, but I did it anyway, and that one decision changed my life. I found freedom, confidence, and a deep love for the world🌴 Now, I’m creating this safe, empowering space for other desi girlies who feel the same calling to explore but don’t know where to start or who to go with. This trip is about joy, connection, sisterhood, and shaking off the “you can’t”s we’ve been told our whole lives!!
